The brand Ukiyo.Market has always had quality at the forefront of its appeal. We've gone through many different shirts, hoodies, sweaters, weighed their pros and cons, found which were better at holding our Anime-designs. Because of this, as of April 5th 2026. We're changing the blank product for our Standard T-Shirts and Hoodies.

Normally we wouldn't make as big of a deal about it; we test new things all the time. However this is more than just a new product change. It's replacing what we've had before.

All 'older' TShirts are now out of stock, and will stay this way as we transition over. There are some exceptions, where we've carried older designs over to the new TShirt product.

Hoodies will follow suit, however we've decided to maintain fulfilment for some 'older' hoodie designs.

To break it down:

When testing for new blank TShirts to use as the base for our Anime prints, we found one outlier that sits very comfortably as the best. This is due to many factors, however the most noticeable being: the new TShirts feel more premium, they're not necessarily thicker, but they're more dense. This makes it so it doesn't feel as airy, but still pulls off being a light wear option. It also naturally creates ventilation that keeps yourself fresh for longer, without your shirts feeling like they're one with you on a hot sunny day. We would've kept the old TShirts in stock, however we don't want to cause confusion on clothing that may seem similar on paper. But are very different in reality.

Our Hoodies follow a similar fate, where we found a new base product that we found a clear winner. But contrary to the TShirts, this one isn't as make-or-break, but instead is the difference of having something that feels comfier. Hence why, we will stop supplying most of our old designs, but keep a some popular ones for the time being.
